Terms & Conditions
As lovely and hospitable as the Inn at the Agora may be, we do have a few rules and policies:
- Rates are per week based on single or double occupancy (as determined by the room rate), not including 9% lodging tax.
- Reservations are guaranteed by your credit card. Deposits and payments are per week (Sunday to Sunday). Deposits are non-refundable. However, if you shorten a multi-week stay or stay, we will apply deposit for canceled nights to your shortened reservation. We accept all major credit cards.
- Should you wish to pay in cash or with a check upon arrival, we are happy to accommodate you; however, a credit card must be used to hold your reservation until your arrival. Please note that we do not typically handle cash and may not be able to provide change.
- If you need an early check-in, please call to request. We need to know at least 24 hours in advance, and they are approved on a case-by-case basis depending on whether guests are checking out ahead of your arrival.
- Check out is 10:00 a.m. or earlier. A late checkout fee of forty dollars ($40.00) may be charged unless prior arrangements are made, and extra work is not required of the housekeeping staff.
- We are a NO SMOKING establishment. If we find that you have not respected our no-smoking policy, there will be a two-hundred-dollar ($200.00) charge applied to your credit card to remove the room from service while we thoroughly clean the room of smoke residue. If you must smoke, please do so in the driveway adjacent to the chapel, on the sidewalk or, IF other guests do not object, on the end of the porch facing the park.
Pet Policies
- Woof! We love pets, but we also need to respect our other guests. A single well-behaved and housebroken pet may be accommodated, depending on availability, for a $25 per week fee. However, you are also responsible for any damage caused by your pet. A few additional pet rules:
- Please inform us at the time of your reservation that you plan to bring your pet. Because we love pets, we want to meet yours at check in and get acquainted!
- Pets must accompany their "parents" at all times and should not be left alone in common areas of the Inn.
- When outside, pets must be leashed (by law) and waste must be removed and disposed of appropriately. We provide a pet waste station for our dog guests in our parking lot.

Deposit, Payment, and Cancellation Policies
We are a small, friendly inn, and cancellations hit us hard. To help defray our costs, our cancellation policy for weekly rentals requires three weeks (21 days) notice prior to the date of arrival per refund schedule.
Deposits:
Required deposit of one week’s stay. Deposits paid on initial booking may be applied toward cancellation fees.
Payment Schedule:
One-week (minimum) stay: Advance payment only (1-week deposit)
Multi-week stay: 1-week deposit plus weekly charge. We will charge the card on file at the beginning of each week (Sunday).
Shortened stay/partial week: Deposits paid on initial booking may be applied toward shortened stays.
Pet Fees:
A housebroken and well-behaved pet may stay for a $25 weekly fee. Maximum number of pets 2.
$25 Fee charged upon booking/initial deposit. Thereafter, the pet fee will be charged to your card on file weekly on Sundays.
Cancellation Refund Schedule:
- Cancellations made with at least 3 months’ notice – all but $100 refunded
- Cancellations one month in advance – all but $300 refunded
- Cancellations made within one month – NO refund **
** Unless the room is re-booked, cancellation during the 30-day window will result in a charge for the full deposit. If we are able to rent your room, we will refund all but $350.
PLEASE CALL US TO CANCEL! No email requests for cancellation or adjustments to your reservation.
If a room is booked through an online travel agent (i.e. Booking.com, Expedia.com) using a non-refundable rate, you will be charged the full rate being charged for the number of nights reserved if you cancel. Your cancellation policy will be the policy that the online travel agent site that your reservation gave you. It is best for you to cancel the reservation through the online site you booked through. If you are unable to, you must call us to initiate the cancellation for you.

Inn at the Agora (hereinafter “we”, “our” or “us”) is committed to maintaining your privacy. This privacy policy outlines Inn at the Agora's practices with respect to information collected from users who access our website at https://www.innattheagora.com (“Site”), or otherwise share personal information with us. The policy also contains information about cookies. The following policies are intended to protect your privacy and ensure that your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner. Further Information
We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise the Privacy Policy; material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Privacy policy. The last revision will be reflected in the "Last modified" section. Your continued use of the Site, following the notification of such amendments on our website, constitutes your acknowledgment and consent of such amendments to the Privacy Policy and your agreement to be bound by the terms of such amendments.
